Guns, Germs, and Steel…such a fascinating exploration of the development of human social networks. Strange how little has changed from 13,000 years ago! Our unique ability to change our world does set us apart. I just hope that it can also help us find our way back to a more symbiotic existence. Extracting every last atom of value from the resources in front of us for our increasingly selfish motives may reduce our legacy. To be certain, we, humans, have the potential to be wonderful. Let’s keep the focus on using our unique skills for the betterment of all creatures.
